"RENATA IS A TIRELESS ADVOCATE FOR WOMEN. WHILE DIRECTOR OF GOVERNOR STRICKLAND'S OFFICE FOR WOMEN'S INITIATIVES & OUTREACH, RENATA WAS OUT FRONT PROMOTING PUBLIC POLICY THAT WOULD BENEFIT and EMPOWER WOMEN. SHE FACILITATED WOMEN-CENTRIC AND RESULTS-ORIENTED CONVERSATIONS and PARTNERSHIPS AROUND ISSUES LIKE HEALTH, POLICY, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION...SHE COULD BALANCE HER POLICY WORK WITH HANDS-ON SERVICE TO WOMEN, GAINING AN EVEN DEEPER UNDERSTANDING OF THE NEEDS OF WOMEN IN OUR COMMUNITY AND BEYOND.... I THINK RENATA WAS BORN A WOMEN'S ADVOCATE, BUT A TRUE, CONFIDENT & PASSIONATE LEADER WAS BORN DURING THESE YEARS IN THE GOVERNOR'S OFFICE."
